New Heidelberg Speedmaster 5-color Press
These photos are of our new Heidelberg Speedmaster 5-color press as it was being installed. We also have a new 2-color press.
After our older presses were moved out of the building, it was necessary to chip out the existing cement floor where our old Heidelberg press stood for almost 40 years. A new and thicker cement “pad” was poured to handle the weight of the new Speedmaster.
The new cement pad is about 14 inches thick which was necessary to support the weight of the new 5-color press which weighs 50,000.
The new press arrived on semi trucks in units which had to be assembled. It was also necessary to cut the top off a doorway to get the new units into the building.
The installation and training for our pressmen took nearly a month. It was important to us and our customers that we remained fully operational during this transition and we were successful! We didn’t miss a beat.

tiniest detail.
--We can now offer inline acqueous coating which means you have more design possibilities and options as well as adding value for your customers.
--There is an inline dryer which means that the time to dry is cut down and finishing of your print job can take place faster. You get your product quicker!
2-Color Heidelberg Printmaster
The 2-color press is able to print on 2 sides of a sheet and does an excellent job on books (black and white) or up to 2 color jobs.
It also has the some of the same advantages as the 5-color Speedmaster .
